About the shop
Two generations, one sign
Gerald Schmitt started with one truck, one pipe wrench and a list of neighbors. Plumbing came first. Heating followed when customers kept asking who they should call about the furnace.
Cheryl joined the shop to run the office and ended up running the crews. Her brother Todd built the heating and air side. Today fourteen people work here, and the work is still dispatched by the person who answers the phone.
